Membership

The Women’s International Club – Languedoc Roussillon (WIC-LR) has at present more than 100 members of different nationalities. We are a bilingual organisation and all WIC activities are conducted in both English and French.

Your annual membership subscription entitles you to:-

1. The monthly Bulletin.
2. The enjoyment of any of the Activity Groups, as described in each month’s Bulletin.
3. Attendance at the monthly Salon held in St Chinian, where you can hear more about club activities, exchange books, magazines, etc. and socialise during the Pause Café whilst enjoying a beverage and cake. There are sometimes short presentations on topical subjects.
4. Attendance at events and outings such as the club’s Christmas party, the annual summer picnic and coach trips to places of interest in the region.
5. The ability to start and nurture an activity group of your own interest, inviting other members, perhaps including partners.

Elected each year, an Executive Committee helps maintain the organisation as well as its vibrancy, with each year’s new committee members stimulating ideas for club activities or events.
